We schedule our hiring events at college campuses from September through the beginning of November - and again in the spring. These events are great opportunities for you to visit with recruiters and to ask specific questions about our company. View our upcoming events by location.
If Union Pacific comes to your campus and you express interest in our positions, you should apply through your campus career center. After you've submitted your application, you could be extended an invitation for a first-round interview. If that interview goes well, you will be invited to a second-round interview.
If Union Pacific does not visit your college campus, you may apply online for one of our posted positions. This process takes about 15 minutes - and allows - you to submit your resume with the online application. After you're finished, you will be able to check your application status online.
