PHYSICAL ABILITIES TEST

About the Test

The Physical Abilities Test (PAT) is a test that assesses whether candidates have the physical ability to safely complete the essential functions of a specific job.

  • Prior to beginning the testing, you will be asked to fill out a short medical history questionnaire and sign a consent form. The medical history questionnaire is separate from the other medical requirements of the hiring process.
  • The clinician will take your blood pressure and your resting heart rate. Your heart rate will be monitored on a real-time basis throughout the entire test.
  • You will NOT find out whether you qualified the PAT before leaving the clinic. If you qualified, the results will be updated on your UP.jobs account and an email will be sent within 24 hours. If you did not qualify, you will receive a phone call from Briotix BTE within 24 hours.
